Abstract:
A SSURGO derived dataset, processed to contain widely used and understood soil variables for the immediate University of Michigan Biological Station property.
Methods:
SSURGO data for Emmet and Cheboygan Counties was downloaded from the MGDL, focused data was extracted for each county and then merged into one shapefile with a spatial extent focused on the UMBS property. See attached metadata file for variable definitions.
